In 1946, a group of men led by Jonathan Huxley, Aldous Huxley's brother, planned to bring world peace by uniting every nation under one umbrella. They messed up. Bad.
Fighting the noble war with the wrong tools, I'd say, for Engineering world Peace. The right tool I consider is Research and development of GODS' LOVE and harnessing method of teachings regarding Religions, History and Philosophy,
There would seem to be some circular reasoning in the cadre: “As Julian Huxley and his cadre believed, leaving ourselves to the forces of natural evolution will only lead to global disaster, overpopulation, and wars.” Since the cadre create and profit from the wars as well... where are the natural forces or is it all natural? And all of this in the bubble of ancient sunlight that is eventually exhausted. The scale may be different, and the scale of the self importance, but it’s an old story.
Dear Jan, excellent article, but it left me puzzled - are you genuinely ironic, or you really suffer from cognitive dissonance? Because almost everything you label as "improbable alternative" is plain to see to be true if you're observing from a non-US standpoint. But I do believe in your sense of irony :) - Greetings from one of those shitty collateral damage countries where lives and futures are hopelessly fucked up in the name of "democracy" i.e. geopolitics or whatfuckingever.
Hi Ned, thank you for the question I expected with high probabability, yes irony is central to this story, and what were observing. Where are you from?
Brilliantly written.
Thank you.
Thanks. Natural forces, contrary to their belief system, are syntropic rather than entropic. So these gentlemen were fighting with the wrong tools
